The Arizona Tri-University Recharge and Water Reliability Project (ATUR) is hiring student research assistants for Summer 2025 as part of a new hiring cluster focused on mapping and analyzing water capture and recharge opportunities across the state. We are looking for students interested in applying science to real-world water challenges through the announcement of two hiring clusters: Cluster 1: Developing engaging ArcGIS Story Maps and Cluster 2: Conducting GIS-based suitability analyses.
Students will be housed within the Arizona Institute for Resilience (AIR), and work with researchers from U of A, ASU, and NAU. Exceptional performance may lead to continued opportunities into the 2025–2026 academic year.

Position Start Date and End Date: June 2025 – August 2025.
Hours: 10-30 hours per week (hourly position)
Location: Tucson, AZ with opportunities for remote work
Pay: $21/hour
Eligibility: Graduate students and upper-level undergraduate students currently enrolled at the University of Arizona.
